Aurora Bistro
Our menu, inspired by a West Coast return to basics, features modern Canadian cuisine in an approachable neighbourhood setting. We rely on elemental tastes and textures; allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves rather than masking them with complicated sauces or combining too many flavours. Closely cultivated relationships with local organic farmers, fish purveyors and mushroom foragers allow Chef Jeff Van Geest to offer authentic flavour, incorporating the freshest West Coast ingredients into every dish.
Aurora’s wine list is comprised fully of BC wines, the ideal accompaniment to local cuisine. Aurora also features locally-crafted beer and cider on tap and a clever cocktail list incorporating organic sodas, fresh juices and new twists on old favorites.
Begining September 1st, Aurora Bistro will be open daily for Lunch and weekend Brunch. The menu will change daily to reflect the best of the season. We will open for lunch from 11:00 to 3:00 on Monday to Friday and for brunch from 10:00 to 2:00 Saturday and Sunday. We will continue to offer dinner service from 5:30 on, 7 days a week.
