Le Marrakech, nestled in eclectic Gastown, is Vancouver's only Moroccan Bistro. The atmosphere here has been imported from the homeland of owners Abdel Elatoubi, and Leo Fouad who have passionately assembled the engaging décor, the fine food and the hospitality that is woven into Moroccan culture to create Le Marrakech.
Le Marrakech is a family restaurant. It has been designed and created in true Moroccan style by the two of us. Everything is hand made by skilled artisans, imported from Morocco, to create an authentic ambiance that we hope you will enjoy. Each guest arrives to a warm greeting by staff attired in djellaba and fez, the traditional dress. Once seated in our dining room, a silver ewer of rose water is then poured over three fingers of the right hand of each guest and then a towel is given to dry, thus preparing you for the feast you are about to partake."
